Before I founded Ms. Bay, I had been working in developing countries with local NGO’s a lot. Something that had been vague and if not meaningless at least difficult to grasp, all of the sudden became very clear. Fair trade standards may mean nothing but a sticker on a banana for you today, for someone across the globe in this globalized world, it makes all the difference.
We all enjoy the benefits from today’s fashion industry. Wouldn’t it be normal that we would all try our best to make our impact when buying a positive one? Whether you’re a designer, brand-owner or happy consumer, sometimes a small thing can just be the right thing.
